Havana 2012 is a single that was recorded, produced, and released by Jesse Brown on Sep. 20, 2019 after ending a relationship with a woman friend who had gifted him a parting bottle of Havana Club Rum that was of the 7 yr old variety, hence the title - Havana 2012. This improvisational piece was recorded on Jesse’s vintage Heintzman upright piano and mastered by Trevor Case at Case Mastering. The overall feeling of depression is apparent, yet there is a feeling of appreciation and hopefulness rising up from this bittersweet piece.
